PENDINE WALK’

Sunday 21st September at 11 a.m. prompt

4 ½ miles/7.3km (approx. 3 ½ hrs). Moderate to strenuous. A wonderful coastal walk, panoramic views from iron age forts of Carmarthen Bay, Pembrokeshire Coast and Gower Peninsular. Some strenuous ascents and descents so a good level of fitness is required. Meet on foot outside the Museum of Speed. Parking available next to Pendine beach – pay and display in operation.

All walks start promptly at the stated time from the location indicated. The walks are suitable for walkers with a good level of fitness and some will include steeper sections of path. Paths are likely to be uneven and muddy in places even in summer. Please bring suitable outdoor clothing, walking boots, drink and a packed lunch. For further enquiries telephone John Neary at Llyn Llech Owain Country Park on (01269) 832229
