This week Llanelli Music Scene celebrates its first year of live Music Scene gigs at the Masons Arms.
The weekend of music kicks off in the Masons Arms on Friday 12th September with the brilliant 27 Cobalt who return to headline the Masons with their original, individual, pop- punk edged music. On the night as well as playing some of their older tracks like ’12 Rounds with Satan’ 27 Cobalt are sure to play us the odd sneaky tune from their new forthcoming album which is due out later this month!

Also reforming for a one off 20 year anniversary gig on the night are Gulp. This Llanelli band originally formed in the early 90s playing rock and indie covers. Gulp played their first gig in the Stepney Hotel in September 1994 during Graig’s freshers week with Chris Jones on guitar, James Prosser on bass, Andrew “Moz” Morris on vocals and Dean Jones on drums. The lads now live all over the uk but the Masons Arms are proud to host this one off Gulp gig supporting 27 Cobalt.
The opening band of the night is High Stakes who play their second Masons gig since forming out of the ashes of former band Fatal Desire. Get ready to rock with a night mixed with quality classic rock, indie and pop punk. Doors open at 7.30pm
