Befriending Circles

We are working in partnership with Age Concern and set up a weekly group for over 50’s. The Befriending Circles group will be meeting every Wednesday between 1:30-3pm. Come along for a coffee, cake and company. It is open to the whole of Llanelli.

Food Co-op

The Food Co-op are taking orders every Wednesday afternoon between 3pm – 4pm. The fruit and locally grown vegetables are £3 a bag, and must be ordered and paid for a week in advance. If you are interested in volunteering on the Food Co-op project by taking orders, delivering the produce and promoting the scheme, please contact us.

Sign Language

The successful sign language course is still running, and the next class is on Thursday the 7th of April between 1pm – 3pm. The class is free and is open to everyone, at all levels. You don’t have to have any previous sign language experience.

Family Group

Are you a parent, grandparent or a carer looking after children? Come to a weekly parenting group run by Plant Dewi Families together group. The session is an opportunity for you to bring your children or to come alone to meet other parents and carers to discuss any issues, gain confidence and to make new friends. The session is free and everyone is welcome. If you are interested in attending, the weekly session is running every Monday between 9:15am – 12:15pm.

Benefit Advice

If you would like advice, or have questions related to benefits, then come and meet Christine and Bryony every Tuesday the 22nd of March between 10 – 12. The officers will be able to check that you are receiving the correct benefit and can advise you on other benefits you may be entitled to receive.
