Llanelli Carp and Coarse Fishing Club Taster Day

Llanelli Carp and Coarse Fishing Club are  having an open day on April 9th and 10th.  They would like groups &  families to come along and have not only a nice day on the Coastal Park but have a go at fishing.

All ages are welcome and the event features:

  • Team Nash Carp Consultants showing how to make bait

  • Meet the experts

  • Army Carp Team

  • Scarlets

  • Bouncy castle

  • Cycle Hire

  • Food and Drinks

From 10 am till 4 pm on both at the Millenium Coastal Park, by the Burry Port  Industrial Units.  For more info phone 01554 780418.

Want to fish but no where to go?

Want to fish but don’t know where to start?

Well here are your answers to all of the above:

The club is currently working with the Millennium coastal park, and has 4 ponds which include 3 match lakes and 1 specimen lake. 

  • We are a family run fishing club who can teach kids, adults male or female who want to learn a new sport or hobby.  
  • We have 6 CRB checked coaches and are all First Aid Trained. 
  • Any Tackle required see the specialist staff in Anglers Corner situated on Station road will help you get the right tackle to start. 
  • Permits can be Purchased from the M.C.P.Office at the Beach, the Harbour Master Bury Port, Anglers Corner Tackle Shop, Bailiffs or Rangers on the Bank.(A valid Environment Agency Licence For over 12 Year olds to purchase Membership or day Ticket).
  • Children’s Competitions will start in May
  • Coaching for all will start in May
