Cardiff congestion: £2 charge plan to help meet clean air targets

News today has revealed that Cardiff council is looking to introduce a congestion charge as part of its 10-year transport plan for the city. Amanda Stretton, motoring editor at Confused.com, says:

“Our expert report found that more than a third (34%) of drivers believe the most polluting vehicles should be banned from highly populated areas.

“Numerous cities have started proposing congestion charges and bans on vehicles driving through the city centres. Yet, with so many different proposals coming into place, it’s confusing for us to know where we stand, to avoid charges.
