I met Veronica at Dafen pond again today. We were pleased to see a council worker picking up some litter and the bins were empty.
We still walked around collecting litter and picked up as much glass as we could from a smashed vodka bottle on the path! We also found folding chairs, a bag of veg peelings in the river and a Dyson!!!
Bet you all thought we had gone mad hoovering the park lol.
If whoever was able to take these items to the pond then why on earth couldn’t they take them to a bin, the tip or put them out with their own rubbish? It totally baffles me!!!
