Searches continue for Nantgaredig man
Michael O’Leary, 55, was reported missing on Monday, 27th January 2020.
Andrew Jones, 52, from Carmarthen was charged with his murder on Monday 3rd February 2020.
Specialist officers continue to search locations in Carmarthen, including Bronwydd and Cwmffrwd, for any evidence that could assist the investigation.
DCI Paul Jones said
“We are now entering the third week of searches and our priority remains to find Mr O’Leary and to find answers for his family.
“We are still appealing for information on any sightings of Mr O’Leary on Monday night, 27th January or any sightings of his vehicle, a silver Nissan Navara, travelling between Cwmffrwd and Capel Dewi between 8pm and 10pm the same night, or from anyone with information who was in this area during these times.
“We also continue to appeal for any sightings or information about a cyclist, believed to be wearing a high vis jacket who was spotted travelling between Capel Dewi and Cwmffrwd on the evening of 27th January.
“I would appeal to anyone with information that could help us to find him to get in contact as soon as possible.
“Our thoughts remain with Michael’s family at this difficult time.”
