The Memory Assessment Service and Community Mental Health team in Caebryn, Prince Philip Hospital, recently received their silver level from Vice Chair Judith Hardisty. Jess Mouzakitis Specialist Memory Assessment Nurse said: “We are in a privileged position to be so closely involved with so many Carers in the course of our day-to-day work and will strive to continue supporting them by working in partnership and maintaining the high standards we have set ourselves.”
Furnace House Surgery has achieved their silver level. Anne Jenkins, Practice Manager said: “Achieving the Silver Investors in Carers award highlights the importance of improving and supporting the health and well-being of Carers. With enthusiasm and passion, this work will continue with support from our Carers lead, Amanda Sloyan and all staff at Furnace House surgery who have worked extremely hard in order to achieve this award.”
The Pre-assessment Clinic in Bronglais Hospital have achieved their bronze. Kelly Hughes Carer Lead said: “Receiving the Bronze level award for carers here in pre-operative assessment is a great achievement for us, we are very proud to be part of this amazing team offering support to carers and their loved ones.”
Brynmair CMHT clinic in Llanelli also achieved their bronze level, Nicola Flaherty Community Mental Health Nurse said: ” We are thrilled to have received this award. As a team being able to have therapeutic relationships with our patients and their loved ones is something we all strive to achieve.
