More than 500 people have attended a Jobs Fair organised by Un Sir Gar based at the Hub in Llanelli.
A wide range of employers attended the Jobs Fair including Pizza Hut, Costa, Ffos Las and the Care Sector.
Carmarthenshire County Council Gateway Manager Emma Rees said: “Hundreds of jobs were available, with over 30 jobs provided by Pizza Hut alone.”
The project, named Un Sir Gar / One Carmarthenshire, is one of a kind and brings together all advice, information, education, voluntary and employment opportunities in the County.
It is a first stop shop which aims to make life a lot easier for those people who want to return to work, education and training, or are unsure of the right path for them.
The project is supported by key partners including Job Centre Plus, Coleg Sir Gar, Careers Wales and Carmarthenshire County Council, who share the ambition to provide a unique, seamless approach to supporting people with learning and employment needs.
Un Sir Gar can be accessed via Drop in at The Hub, 36 Stepney St and various other Carmarthenshire locations, via www.onecarmarthenshire.co.uk or freephone 0800 9173 408.
