Sonia is back with a poem this time!

Your perfect leaps leave my soul cold.

Do you feel the passionate heat

As your pink satin feet

Leave the ground?

Your sterile gestures fail to astound

Or ignite any flame;

But your tulle-wrapped fame

Puts you on the pedestal of greatness.

Have you felt the sharp pain of love

As its stiletto slices through your life?

Or the agony of passion’s hot knife

As it twists and turns in your heart?

Joy alone is insufficient.

We, as mortals, are meant

To suffer

In order to produce our art.
