REDS GO DOWN BUT QUALIFY FOR EUROPEÂ
The Reds lost their last home game of the season when they went down to a 3-2 defeat to Port Talbot Town. The Reds goals were scored by Rhys Griffikths and Adam Orme. The Port Talbot goals came from a Luke Bowen penalty and two from Lee Surman.
There was jubilation at Stebo after the game when the score came in from Farrar Road. Bangor City’s 1-0 win over The New Saints saw them crowned Champions and as a result, The Reds will now play in the Europa League qualifiers in the summer. They are currently in qualifying round 1 but a win in the Welsh Cup final will see them compete in qualifying round 2. A Bangor City win in the final will see The New Saints go into qualifying round 2.
