So the new Ant Man Movie is coming out this year. I’ve seen the teaser trailer which looks awesome. A two inch man knocking out a six foot guards teeth out… Sweet! I mean the costume looks fantastic. It looks like it might start out like what they did with Iron Man except there are no terrorists in caves! I found it surprising how good it seems though considering the first two directors dropped out which may leave some skepticism on how good the movie is actually going to be. But let’s see it first before we make up our minds shall we?
So Ant Man’s to be released on July 17 2015. Paul Rudd to play Scott Lang AKA Ant Man, who will be joined by Corey Stoll who will be playing the hero Darren Cross AKA Yellowjacket. Evangeline Lilly will be featured as Hope Van Dyne the daughter Hank Pym played by Michael Douglas. Apparently we will also see Hayley Artwell return as Peggy Carter and also John Slattery as Howard Stark, Let’s just say I’m intrigued!
Now I know you’re probably thinking why wasn’t Hank Pym Ant Man, or will Wasp be featured in this film? But what do they have planned for this character? Maybe eventually he ends up building that evil cybernetic clone of Thor, or maybe he’ll end up getting Spiderman or The Invisible Woman to turn sides and join Tony Starks Superhero Registration Act like it was done in the comic books? All I know is, this is all extremely exciting and I cannot wait to see it. This should be a magnificent beginning for Avengers Phase 3.
