Two of Scarlets’ front row players, Rhodri Jones and Kirby Myhill, were taken from the field in the region’s victory over Ospreys at Parc y Scarlets on Saturday with injuries.
Scarlets can confirm that tighthead prop Rhodri Jones, 23, sustained a dislocated right shoulder, which was relocated whilst on the field, and was sent for preliminary imaging on Saturday evening.
Hooker Myhill, 22, has a suspected pec tear, has undergone initial imaging on his right shoulder.
Both Jones and Myhill will meet with consultant specialists today, Tuesday 6th January, to discuss the prognosis and to put a rehabilitation plan in place.
