Trostre and Nantycaws household waste and recycling centres re-open yesterday for the first time since the Coronavirus pandemic. Wernddu in Ammanford and Whitland will re-open from today (Wednesdays-Sundays).
The centres are open to those Carmarthenshire residents who have already pre-booked an appointment. Appointments for this week are now full for Trostre and Wernddu recycling centres. Please don’t turn up to the centres without an appointment as you will not be able to enter.
Appointments for next week can be made through an online booking form. The appointment slots will go live on Thursday at 8.30am at Carmarthenshire.gov.wales/recyclingcentres
The situation will be continuously reviewed and any updates or changes to the system will be posted on the council’s website or Facebook and Twitter pages.
To ensure it is fair to everyone, residents will initially be able to make one appointment per month.
Thank you for your continued co-operation throughout these difficult times.
