Have Pride In Your Patch – join a community event!

Carmarthenshire families are being given the chance to do something good for their community as part of the council’s Pride In Your Patch scheme.

Carmarthenshire County Council’s Community Engagement Team, part of Housing Services, has organised a series of litter picks and want local people to get involved.

Each of the litter picks take place between 10am and 12pm, and volunteers will earn Time Credits for their efforts.

Tuesday, February 17 – Garnant Family Centre, Maes y Bedol, Garnant

Wednesday, February 18 – Llwynhendy Family Centre, Ty Enfys Family Centre, 2 Ynyslas, Llwynhendy

Thursday, February 19 – Felinfoel Family Centre, Ysgol Maes y Felin, Felinfoel

Friday, February 20 – Trimsaran Family Centre, Miners Welfare Hall, Trimsaran

Monday, February 23 – Neuadd y Tymbl car park

Pride In Your Patch is part of the council’s Carmarthenshire Homes Standard Plus investment programme, and encourages tenants to love their gardens and outdoor spaces whilst giving them the opportunity to gain new skills. It is supported by Keep Wales Tidy and Tidy Towns.
