A free online photography workshop is being offered to budding young photographers.

Up to 16 places are available to people aged between 16-25 and is part of the Great Place Scheme Llanelli project.

The purpose of the workshop is to engage a group of talented and passionate photographers to capture the spirit of Llanelli through a young person’s lens.

It’s free of charge and participants will need to have access to their own camera and video call facilities.

Delivered via video call between June and August 2020 the workshop will identify both rural Llanelli and Llanelli town in order to capture the essence of the district.

The workshop sessions will explore marketing and place branding approaches to photography through practical experience and expert tutoring and guidance.

To register your interest please email Emma Laszlo ELaszlo@carmarthenshire.gov.uk with details of any photography qualifications, experience and reason for interest (up to 500 words in total)

Deadline is Friday, June 19 at 5pm.

The Great Place Scheme is funded through the National Lottery Heritage Fund.
