News today reports that petrol prices could be set to drop as fear of a second wave of coronavirus causes wholesale prices to fall. Car insurance expert at Confused.com Alex Kindred says:

“Average prices for petrol and diesel were down at 109p and 113p per litre respectively in June. Now, we’ve seen rates go up to 114p and 117p in the space of one month.

“The varying costs between regions and suppliers makes it confusing to know when and where we’re going to get the best deal.

“Our petrol price finder helps find the cheapest fuel in each area. That way, you can avoid paying over the odds.”
