THE SPECIALS

10 Sep 2021

The Specials are back on tour in 2021!

The veteran ska-punk band formed in Coventry in 1977, the trend-starting ska revival band that hit the British music scene hard. In the UK, their debut single “Gangsters” shot to Number 6 and every subsequent single was a Top 10 hit, including two Number 1 hits – “Too Much Too Young” and the much-loved “Ghost Town” – which won ‘Single of the Year 1981’ in NME, Melody Maker and Sounds.

Following the release of their eighth studio album Encore in 2019 to critical acclaim, the band comprised of Terry Hall, Lynval Golding and Horace Panter hit the road again, cementing their legendary status in the music scene and continuing to inspire the next generation of politically motivated acts.

PALOMA FAITH – 2021 TOUR

18 Oct 2021

For her fifth studio album, Infinite Things, Paloma Faith worked with a small group of long-time and new collaborators, songwriters and producers and the results are stunning. This is a new Paloma Faith, an artist who has retreated within herself and found not the careful, polished veteran of show business – but the 22-year-old art student being led by her own creativity.

This record is more than an album about relationships. It’s a rumination on sickness and loss. It’s about finding your way back to romance within a long-term relationship. It’s her most confident record yet from a female artist who’s been in the game for two decades.

BILL BAILEY: EN ROUTE TO NORMAL

15 Dec 2021

How did we get here? How do we find our way through this? And exactly who are we again?

In this new show, Bill ponders these and other questions that this moment in history has thrown up and tries to see a way through the weird unreality of our new world. Tracing lines through chaotic moments in our past, Bill seeks out parallels where human resilience and our ability to endure has got us through times of strife.

He recounts his own experiences of dealing with isolation, including his thoughts on the ‘sounds of lockdown’. Through music, songs, and memories, Bill considers (among many other things!) our changing priorities, the wonder of dogs, how little things can keep you on track and his new-found love of skydiving.

EN ROUTE TO NORMAL is not just a funny, heartwarming mix of stories, music and history, but a personal mission to find our way through these Strange Days!
