Haverfordwest is one of the most desirable places to live and work in Wales.

Pembrokeshire’s county town (SA 61) came fourth in a recent Royal Mail post code survey.

Morriston near Swansea topped the Welsh poll followed by Birchgrove, also near Swansea and Penarth.

The post code survey was commissioned by the Royal Mail and carried out by the Centre for Economic and Business Research.

Assessors calculated the most desirable areas in the UK based on a range of factors including good schools, access to green spaces, good employment prospects, affordable housing and average commuting times.

Bebington (CH63) in the Wirral topped the English list and Neilston (G78) in East Renfrewshire came first in Scotland.

SA61 is one of the estimated 1.8 million post codes in use across the UK.
