MAWWFRS Authority Draft Corporate Plan 2021 – 2026

We need your input!

There are only a few days left to ‘have your say’ on the proposals outlined in our Draft Corporate Plan 2021-2026.  The closing date is this Friday 4th December.

This is your Fire and Rescue Service, and we want to know what you think of the services we provide and how you believe we can continue to make improvements and future savings.

Our Corporate Plan sets out our Strategic direction for the next five years. The plan also contains our four Draft Strategic Aims and Improvement and Well-being Objectives for 2021/2022. These Improvement and Well-being Objectives have been set in the context of the significant challenges facing public services, but also reflect an appetite to embrace innovative ideas and new ways of working. We remain committed to the Well-being of Future Generations (Wales) Act 2015, and we have embraced our duties and our role as a statutory partner across our six Public Services Boards.

We believe that collaborative working is the future of the emergency services, enabling us to improve the way we work; share our people and financial resources; and ultimately save more lives. We are also committed to finding innovative solutions to improve the way we work, improve Firefighter safety, reduce our impact on the environment and ultimately contribute to the wellbeing of our communities.
