CPT has today announced that Josh Miles has been appointed as the first full time Director of CPT Cymru.
Taking up his post in early February Josh will be responsible for leading CPT’s work across Wales, including engagement with Welsh Government to help deliver CPT’s policy goals for the industry.
Josh is currently the policy manager at Federation of Small Business (FSB) Wales and manages the policy and research agenda for its 10,000 Welsh members. He has experience of high level engagement with Welsh Government and has previously worked for an MP representing a Welsh constituency.
Commenting on Josh’s appointment, CPT Chief Executive Graham Vidler said:
“I’m very much looking forward to welcoming Josh to CPT. He has extensive experience of political engagement and joins us from another well respected trade association. I know Josh will be keen to meet and understand members’ priorities as soon as he is in post.”
Commenting on his appointment, incoming CPT Cymru Director Josh Miles said:
“I’m delighted to be joining CPT during what is a challenging time for the bus and coach industry. Alongside the pandemic there are many issues, including congestion, air quality and how we provide transport networks in the future that are all rising up the political agenda. I very much look forward to ensuring CPT members’ views and interests are represented right at the heart of Welsh Government.”
