Action for Children’s Ty Robin Vale short breaks service in Barry has received a donation of Christmas presents from Morgan Sindall, a local construction company who wanted to give back to the community after such a challenging year. The firm provided 39 presents which means there is one for every child and young person who accesses Ty Robin.
The service provides respite care and support for children and young people who have learning or physical disabilities and their families.
Registered manager of Vale Short Breaks, Laura Mason, said: ‘We are absolutely delighted to receive these presents from Morgan Sindall. This has been an incredibly difficult year for the families we support and we have done everything we can to continue supporting them. To receive a present for each child was wonderful and is a great example of the community spirit that burns so brightly in Barry and the Vale.’
