Premises Closure Notice terminated on premises in Aberystwyth

A takeaway premises in Aberystwyth has had its Premises Closure Notice terminated following re-inspection by officers from Ceredigion County Council’s Public Protection Team.

A Premises Closure Notice was issued to G-one in Aberystwyth on 8 December 2020 due to non-compliance with the Health Protection (Coronavirus Restrictions) (No. 4) (Wales) Regulations 2020.

The notice has been terminated after officers received assurances from the business that face coverings will be worn by staff members at all times when working in the public area.

The Premises Improvement Notice will remain in place at G-one. The premises will be monitored until such time that Public Protection Officers are satisfied that the required improvements are maintained.

Premises that fail to comply with a Premises Improvement Notice may be issued a Premises Closure Notice, Fixed Penalty Notice of £1,000, or both.
