Stephen Crabb Visits Llanelli for the Conservative Party General Election Campaign Launch

Secretary of State for Wales, Stephen Crabb, visited Llanelli on Monday to support the general election campaign launch of the Llanelli Conservative candidate, Selaine Saxby.

Mr Crabb also visited local firm, Owens Logistics in Dafen Industrial Estate. Owens Logistics Directors Huw, Eurof and Ian Owen and Finance Director, Alison Treharne-Jones, spent an hour talking with Mr Crabb. A range of issues were discussed including the Severn Bridge tolls and, furthermore, the impact of a recent European Union directive which introduced the CPC qualification (Certificate of Professional Competence).

Selaine, accompanied by members of the Llanelli Conservative Future branch, said of the meeting:

“We are fortunate to have such a well established, successful family firm here in Llanelli. Owens Logistics this afternoon detailed job opportunities for HGV drivers available with them which is good news for Llanelli”
