Events
First Steps To work Event on Thursday 11th August, 10am – 12noon. An informal workshop covering CV’s interview skills etc. Every Wednesday and Friday lego sessions 10am, Stella’s Street Dance 2pm. Today African Drumming Workshop 12.30pm. Digital Day 12th August 10am – 2pm, come along and find out about the new technology on the market, have a go at an Ipad, Ipod, Netbook, Smart phone etc. Circus Skills Workshop 10am 17th August, to be held at Brynteg School, Llwynhendy.
Job Support
Work Club every Thursday 10am – 12pm, representatives from Want2Work, Jobcentreplus and CareersWales are on hand to help with CV’s, job applications, job searches and also benefits advice. Also if you have any questions or would like advice relating to debt, benefits or volunteering, Bryony will be on hand too.

FREE IT courses available with Learndirect, free to all, no matter what your circumstances.
PACT
Mmeeting takes place first Wednesday of the month 2pm at Communities First Office, come along if you have any issues you wish to discuss with the local police team. We now have a new Facebook page, please become a friend and find out what is going on in the area.
Rag Bag
Sscheme is now up and running, if you have any clothes, shoes, belts etc (any condition)that you don’t need anymore, they can be recycled and all money will be put back into the community. We are also a collection point for Food Bank, and if you have any tins, rice, pasta, cereal etc that you would like to donate please call at the Communities First office.
The school holidays activity programme is now out, if you would like more information please contact us.

Playgroup
Trallwm Community Playgroup has vacancies at The Bryn and Trallwm Sports and Social Club, Gelli Road, Bryn. Open Mon – Fri, 9.30am – 11.25am (school terms only). For children 2 years to school age. For more details contact Anthea on 07977571205 or call in.
Trostre Football Club
Every Tuesday (including over the summer), 5-6pm at Trostre Playing Fields. under8’s and under 9’s year olds. New players welcome. Contact Mike on 07546 932911.
