A number of stage and screen stars will be performing at the Princess Royal Theatre over the next 18 months.
The launch of a new programme of events at the theatre has seen a surge of interest from fans of live entertainment, with certain shows having sold more than 80% of their tickets in a matter of weeks.
The season will kick off with Live Aid legend, Bob Geldof on Thursday 3 September 2015. The Boomtown Rats star will be performing an evening of his biggest hits and well-loved classics from his career spanning over four decades.
On Friday 25 September, music royalty, The Osmonds will take to the stage to perform selected hits from their albums. Join 59 time gold and platinum recording artists Merrill, Jay and Jimmy as they rock the house in the only Welsh date of their current tour.
Opera lovers won’t want to miss an evening with Paul Potts. The 2007 Britain’s Got Talent winner returns to his home town on Sunday 11th October when this ordinary man with an extraordinary talent is sure to delight the audience with his sublime and powerful tenor voice.
As the cold weather hits town, it will be time to warm up the vocal chords as you laugh away the winter blues. Nina Conti and her puppet friends will have everyone in hysterics on Wednesday 11 November.
Starting the New Year with even more laughs will be Irish funny man Ed Byrne. The ‘Mock the Week’ regular will be bringing his new show ‘Outside Looking In’ to the Princes Royal on Sunday 31 of January 2016.
Comedy powerhouse Sarah Millican brings the best of UK comedy to the 800 seat theatre on Thursday 8 September 2016. This superstar of stand-up has graced the stage at the Royal Variety Performance, as well as many of the country’s most popular TV shows and is now set to bring her new show ‘Outsider’ to Port Talbot.
