The West Wales Chronicle is an online Community News Magazine run by Cetma.org.uk

Cetma is a social enterprise or not for profit enterprise set up by volunteers from West Wales with the aims of:

The regeneration and continuing development of West Wales by the promotion of the area through all forms of media, activities and events and Community Engagement via Technology and Art.

We are independent of the County and local Councils, non political and run by volunteers.

How are we run?

We are a private company limited by guarantee and not having a share capital (our company number is 06737296). This means that if we make any profits, the directors and any shareholders don’t receive a penny.  Instead, any profits are re-invested into the aims of the enterprise.

We are governed by a constitution or memorandum and articles of association and day to day affairs are carried out by a board of directors and our volunteers. We have 2 types of membership, please click the links to see our Community and Corporate members.

If you or your group would like to become a member of  Cetma then please contact us.

How are we funded?

Contrary to what you might think, we recieve no funding from County or Local Councils and are independant of them.  The guiding principle behind the company is sustainability. We need to sustain the business through commercial ventures which will enable us to plough any potential profits back into the positive promotion of the area with a view to Community Engagement via Technology and Art.

These services that are offered are designed to aid the long term sustainability of the business and ensure that Llanelli & District’s businesses and communities have the positive exposure that they deserve.

Core costs are provided through sponsorship and we thank all of our sponsors for helping us acheive our aims.  Our current sponsors are:

  • Llanelli Town Council
  • CPT Solutions
  • Mighty Media Productions
  • Epiphany Creative Solutions

We will not accept sponsorship from any company though! Every company must meet the requirements of our Ethical Sponsorship Policy.
