How are we funded?
Contrary to what you might think, the West Wales Chronicle is not just a website.
In order to achieve our aims, effectively promote the area and help with the regeneration we need to diversify our Services.
The guiding principle behind Llanellitown.com is sustainability.
We need to sustain the business through commercial ventures which will enable us to plough any potential profits back into the promotion of the region.
We will do this by:
Sponsorship – Core costs will be provided by site sponsorship and we have many ways in which businesses, organisations and projects can contribute to the community whilst benefiting from the marketing and the exposure generated.
Sales – Working with local businesses & organisations, we aim to sell products online via the site. This offers businesses and community groups a whole new range of potential customers.
Community Support – We will be providing a range of Services that Communities will be able to access. Some of these Services will be free but others will incur a slight charge to cover costs.
Projects – We will work with partners to identify any needs within the area and address those needs via projects. Llanellitown.com is ideally placed to bridge the gap between Business and Community. If you are an organisation or community and you’d like to work in partnership with us then please contact us.
Grants – Due to the structure of the Company, it is able to apply for certain grants to help carry out its duties to help regenerate the area.
These services that are offered are designed to aid the long term sustainability of the business and ensure that Llanelli & District’s businesses and communities have the positive exposure that they deserve.
