Seasonal Jobsfair

There will be a Jobsfair taking place on Saturday 4th September, 10am – 2pm. 

This event will be taking place at the Jobcentre, Llanelli.  The aim of this event is to allow employers to recruit for the Christmas period. 

There are full and part time opportunities available and employers in attendance so far are

  • Card Factory
  • Debenhams
  • Argos
  • HM Forces
  • Pegasus
  • Village Homecare
  • Premier Inn

 

People are encouraged to just turn up and bring plenty of CVs!

Musicians Wanted

Rev Graham Davies of Burry Port has formed a new all-aged band comprised of local Christians. It currently has a keyboard, saxophone and violin player and a female vocalist. The band needs an accomplished lead guitarist and flautist. The band rehearses mainly on Friday evenings and plays a range of contemporary pop with some Irish music. It plays in pubs, restaurants etc. If you are an accomplished musician between the ages of 18 and 99 and wish to join please contact Graham on 07946 583110 or email on graham.davies7@virgin.net

Volunteer Administrator:  To help organise the company’s admin procedures and the running of the business.  Hours to suit and training given.

Volunteer Project Coordinator:  Sometimes Llanellitown.com will apply for funding to carry out projects within the area, the purpose of the role would be coordinate the projects. Hours to suit and training given. Ideal for someone looking into a career in this area.

Volunteer Journalist/PR:  Do you follow local football or rugby or take an interest in the news from your area?  If yes, then how about sending us some reports and being the point of contact for your community? Hours to suit and training given.

LTTV, Llanelli’s own community web based TV station is looking for people to work in front and behind the camera.
