Llwynhendy Youth Group recently took part in the Crossing Park Boundaries Scheme held at The Brecon Beacons National Park.
The Activity involved Geo-Caching ( a modern day treasure hunt) in the National Park and the group had to find the cache which was hidden in all different types of places e.g. hidden in walls, in the roots of trees and even clues in the landscape itself.
The only clues are in the form of Satellite Navigation tools to lead them to the approximate location, then the search begins.
We took two groups to take part in this team-building activity and they really enjoyed, working in small teams to find the treasure (Cache).
Following on from this the plan is now to establish our own Cache in the area for people to take part in, and will see how this develops over the coming weeks.
