On August 2nd, 2010, Swiss End2End, a team of cyclists from Llanelli, riding from Lands End to John O Groats completed their ride.  The ride was done in 7 days and was in aid of Ty Hafan Children’s Hospice, which offers comfort, care and support for life-limited children and young people.  The ride was also in memory of Mr Andrew Newcombe, organiser of the ride, who sadly passed away in May this year.  His son, Cai, 10, started the ride off in Land’s End and then met the team to complete the last 10 miles in memory of his dad.

Llanelli AFC, along with other local businesses have been extremely kind in sponsoring

the ride, and we would like to say a huge thank you to them all.  You can still sponsor the team at http://www.justgiving.com/Ty-Hafan-Swiss-End-to-End and this will be open until the end of September or contact Dawn Evans on 07971 185 153
