One of the town’s cultural highlights, the “Llanelli Proms†has announced the dates of the next Llanelli Proms 2011.
This will take place on Saturday 14th May 2011 at the Selwyn Samuel Centre, Llanelli and will feature the massed voices of the Hywel Girls’ Choir & Hywel Boy Singers, Llanelli Choral Society, guest choirs and soloists and the military might of a leading British military band. “THE MAGIC OF CHRISTMASâ€
The town of Llanelli will welcome the Christmas season in true musical fashion at the performance “The Magic of Christmas†to be held on Saturday 11th December 2010 at Greenfield Chapel Llanelli. The performance will bring together Llanelli’s two leading choirs, the Hywel Girls’ Choir & Hywel Boy Singers and the Llanelli Choral Society, together with surprise artists for a wonderful welcome to Christmas.
