Burry Port Male Choir
On Saturday 11 September the choir are performing in St Illtyd’s church,Fforestfach at 7pm in aid of church funds.
Royal British Legion
The Royal British Legion club presents on Saturday11 September the club award winner for best female entertainer, Rhiannon Welsh. Doors open 7pm.Entrance for members and guests £3.Last bingo books 7.50pm
The next coffee evening to raise funds for troop’s parcels is on Monday 13 September. There is a raffle and bingo with the last books being sold at 8.20pm.
McMillan Fun Day
On Saturday 18 September a Macmillan Cancer support Fun day will be held at the Bristol Hotel, Burry Port from 2.30pm.There will be an auction, bingo and raffle with auction viewing from 11am.All welcome.
Free Hearing Tests
On Friday 17 September from 10am-4pm at John Davies Pharmacy, Burry Port there will be an open day by the Hearing Experience with free hearing tests and advice. Further details from Alison on 01792 642522.
Burns Dog Day
On Sunday 19 September at Pembrey Country Park there are various events including at 8.45am the Dog Jog in aid Hounds for Heroes.The pretty 2.5km (1.5mile) course is level and free of traffic. You can walk, stroll, jog or use a wheelchair. All dogs must be on a lead. Everyone who completes the course will receive a medal including the dogs. Other events throughout the day include a fun dog show at 11.15am,Black Knight’s Parachute team 1.30pm,dog training, dog agility, Breed parade, homes wanted parade, dog display team, charity and trade stands and much more. Music & Drama Club
Monday 20 September is the enrolment evening for the Llanelli & District Music and Drama club at 7pm in Llanerch Hall. Membership gives concessionary rates for concerts, newsletters, group discounts etc. There is an exciting programme of events for the forthcoming season.
