Christian Forum

The Burry Port Christian Forum starts one of its major projects on Sunday 3 October. Based on the idea of a church in a pub it is called “Hot Potato” and will take place every Sunday evening at the Neptune Hotel at 8pm. The speaker is Andrea Parry of the 21st Century Church and music will be provided by the duo Tim and Ann O’Hare of the Antioch Centre. The evening will give people an opportunity to relax with a drink and talk about different moral, social and religious issues each time. For the churches involved it is an attempt to take church where the people are, make friends with them and to talk about life and God. The Hot Potato team invites dreamers and doubters, cynics and seekers and anyone who enjoys a good chat to come along each Sunday. For more information please contact the Forum Co-ordinator Rev Graham Davies on 07946 583110.
