Historical Society
The next meeting of the Pembrey & Burry Port Historical society is Tuesday 12 October, with a talk by Rev. Eldon Phillips entitled “Churches of Gowerâ€. This will take place at the Memorial Hall & Institute,Rooms 2/3 at 7pm and as always members and non-members will be made very welcome. Refreshments will be provided.
Book Club

Council Donations
The Pembrey and Burry Port Town Council will shortly be considering applications for financial assistance from charitable organisations within the Pembrey and Burry Port area. Organisations wishing to be considered must complete an application form from the Council Offices, Memorial Hall, Parc-y-Minos Street, Burry Port, SA16 0BN. If your organisation has previously received a donation in 2010 you are kindly asked not to apply this time round.
