Tyre Amnesty
Carmarthenshire County Council are holding a tyre amnesty on Wednesday the 09.02.11 at Tesco Car Park, Llanelli. It is an opportunity for households to get rid of up to 10 tyres. Only car tyres (including tyres that are still on the rims) can be accepted. For more information please contact Simon Troake  at Ty Elwyn on 01554 742159.
Sign Language
The successful sign language course is still running, and the next class is on Thursday the 10th of February between 1pm – 3pm at Communities First Bigyn 4 meeting room. The class is free and is open to everyone, at all levels. You don’t have to have any previous sign language experience.
Parenting Group
Are you a parent, grandparent or a carer looking  after children? Come to a weekly parenting group run by Plant Dewi Families together group. The session is an opportunity for you to bring your children or to come alone to meet other parents and carers to discuss any issues, gain confidence and to make new friends. The session is free and everyone is welcome. If you are interested in attending, the weekly session is running every Monday between 9:15am – 12:15pm.
Food Co-op
The Food Co-op will are taking orders every Wednesday afternoon between 3pm – 4pm.  The fruit and locally grown vegetables are £3 a bag and must be ordered and paid for a week in advance. If you are interested in volunteering on the Food Co-op project by taking orders, delivering the produce and promoting the scheme, please contact us.
Environment Meeting
The next Llanelli Environmental Network (LEN) will be held on Thursday the 17h of February between 10:00-12:00. Come along if you would like to get involved in Environmental projects in the area.
Half Term
Free half term activities include a Netball skills session on Tuesday the 22nd of February between 2:00 – 3:00 and a Sign Language class on Thursday the 24th of February between 1:00 – 3:00. Open to all ages.
