Coffee/Bingo Evening
This will be held on Monday 28 February in the Royal British Legion Headquarters. Entrance 40p members and guests. Bingo last books 8.20pm.
Burry Port Folk Club
A preliminary meeting to discuss the setting up of the folk club will be held in the Coasting Pilot pub, Bridge Street, Burry Port on Monday 28 February at 7.30 pm. This club will provide an opportunity for local musicians of all ages and abilities to perform in front of a friendly audience and have a good time together. We invite people who sing, play guitar, accordion, flute etc. and those who would like to read some poetry or tell stories.

Cawl Cennin
On Tuesday 1 March at the Memorial Hall the Burry Port Male choir and children of Ysgol Parc y Tywyn will entertain at the Town Council’s St. David’s day celebration tea for the senior members of the community. Doors open 12.45pm.Free tickets may be obtained from the Town Council offices.
Townswomen’s Guild
We hold our AGM and Welsh tea on 3 March which will be the final meeting of the Guild. We will however attend the Federation AGM in Carmarthen on the 11 April.
Manchester Trip
The Burry Port Male choir are organising a four day, three night coach trip to central Manchester from 22-25 March 2012.They will be performing at the Thousand Voices Male Choirs concert on Saturday 24 March. Places are available for coach and B & B at the Britannia Hotel at cost of £150 each if sharing a room or £195 each for single room. Concert tickets if required are £40.Anyone welcome but numbers required soon for hotel. Various pick-ups. Contact Illtyd on 01554 810442 or Carol on 834371.
