Benefits Changes in Carmarthenshire Event

Recent government announcements about changes to Incapacity Benefit, Employment and Support Allowance and Disability Living Allowance have caused alarm amongst some people with MS.
MS Society Cymru and the Carmarthenshire Branch are holding an event to explain the benefits changes.
Your local event will be held at Bronwydd Public Hall, near Carmarthen, on Monday April 4th.
The event will:
- Update you on disability benefits changes
- Let you know how and when the changes will be introduced
- Give tips on how to make successful claims and appeals

MS Cymru has put together the programme with input from disability rights organisations and the Department of Work and Pensions.
The hall will be open from 12 noon until 5.30pm, the benefits presentation taking place from 2pm until 4.30pm.

Name(s); e-mail and postal address; access requirements (i.e. Do you require a wheelchair space); name of venue..
MS Cymru will confirm your place and send you directions 1-2 weeks before the event.
In addition, a number of other organisations have been invited along to provide information, for example; Direct Payments. Other stands will feature companies that provide disability aids, services and goods, all for people with MS and a whole range of debilitating illnesses and complaints that cause difficulty in their every day lives.
Admission is Free and light refreshments will be provided..
