Free Golf Lessons

A course of 6 free Ladies’ golf lessons for complete beginners at Ashburnham Golf  Club with the club professional Martin Stimson are available.L essons will be held in the evening and at weekends. A meeting will be held on Tuesday March 29 at 6.30pm at the club to arrange dates and times.L essons will begin the first week in April. All ages welcomed. Burry Port Folk Club

The first meeting of the Burry Port folk club will take place at the Coasting Pilot pub, Bridge Street on Monday 14 March at 7.30pm. This will provide an opportunity for local musicians of all ages and abilities to perform in front of a friendly audience and have a good time together. This will be an open mic night and we invite people who sing, play acoustic guitar, accordion, whistle etc.or those who would like to read some poetry or tell stories. Otherwise just come along and enjoy the music.

Nearly New Sale  

On Saturday 19 March at 2pm there is a Nearly New sale at the Catholic church hall,Burry Port.Entrance 50p to enclude tea or coffee.

Cawl Cennin Evening

On Saturday 12 March at 7.30pm there is a combined St David and St Patrick’s Cawl Cennin evening at the Catholic church hall,Burry Port.There will be a harpist and entrance is £3.50 adults,children aged 7-12 £1 and under 7’s free.
