Llanelli Multicultural Drop In Centre Re-Opens
After a very successful trial period from August last year the Llanelli Multicultural Network(LMCN) has been successful in obtaining the necessary funding to now allow the Weekly Multicultural Drop -In Centre to run on a permanent basis.
The LMCN received fantastic support from ALL the Communities 1st areas in and around Llanelli in helping to obtain this funding. thus illustrating the importance to the whole community for this facility to continue.
We would like to extend a warm welcome to the whole community to come and take advantage of this facility and take advantage of the services and facilities provided.
Also would like to invite any community minded groups and organisations to come and share the facility. As the Drop in Centre is fully funded we would not look to make a charge.
If your group or organisation would like to have a presence at the Centre, perhaps providing a service to the community or having information available for the Drop in clients please. By working in partnership with others we hope that we can extend the range of services and support available to the community.
Though the LMCN works primarily with members of minority ethnic groups, we welcome ALL members of the community. The drop-in Centre provides a perfect environment where members of community from all backgrounds can meet together in a friendly and informal setting and make new friends over a cuppa and biscuit.
The Multicultural Drop In Centre is completely free to ALL users and we offer free refreshments too!
We welcome any suggestions as to further support, facilities and services that we could provide.
