Dragon Playbus
Do you have children between 0 – 10 years? Are you looking for somewhere to go? Come along to the Free Dragon Bus at Penyfan Park car park every Wednesday between 10am – 12pm and 1pm – 3pm. The bus has play activities for children, sand, painting, art and craft, home corner, toys, books, music and signing. Have a cuppa and enjoy yourselves! All children must be with a parent/carer. Everyone welcome.
Debt and Benefit Advice
If you would like advice, or have questions related to benefits, then come and meet Christine and Bryony every Tuesday between 10 – 12 at the Porta Cabins in Penyfan Park, Llanelli. The officers will be able to check that you are receiving the correct benefit and can advise you on other benefits you may be entitled to receive.
Over 50s
Communities First Bigyn 4 and Age Concern Sir Gar are working in partnership and organsied a free trip for over 50’s to the Apollo Cinema in Carmarthen on Tuesday the 24th of May. A bus will be picking up from Queen’s Mary Walk at 12.30. There are 20 free tickets to watch Thor. Booking forms must be completed before the trip and can be collected from Communities First Bigyn 4 or by telephoning 07855952901.
Environmental Meeting
The next Llanelli Environmental Network (LEN) will be held on Thursday the 19th of May between 10:00-12:00 at the Porta Cabins in Penyfan Park, Llanelli. Come along if you would like to get involved in Environmental projects in the area.
Building Skills
Are you interested in learning a new skill? Coleg Sir Gar have acquired a building in Furnace to be used for construction projects. The 7 week course will start in May and run on a Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday evening between 6.00 – 9.00. Courses include Painting & Decorating, Plumbing, Brickwork, Carpentry, Tiling and Plastering.
