Fit 4 Fun Recipe of the Month “Smoothie”
Fit 4 Fun believe it’s important to involve children as much as possible in cooking daily meals and the aim of these recipes is to get all the family into the kitchen to prepare some healthy and nutritious dishes, which everyone can enjoy!
What you need
-
6 strawberries
-
1 banana
-
100ml low fat natural yogurt
-
100ml semi-skimmed milk
  Equipment
-
Knife
-
Chopping board
-
Spoon
-
Blender
-
Measuring jug
What you do
-
Slice the strawberries and banana and place in a blender.

Add the yoghurt to the blender and blend until smooth (remember to put the lid on tight!)

Add milk if the smoothie is too thick.

Pour into a glass and place a strawberry onto the edge of the glass.

 Take care! Make sure an adult helps when blending and using the knife
