Necomimi – mind controlled cat ears
Japanese inventors have created a set of battery powered cat ears that uses sensors to read brainwaves. The ears respond to thoughts and mood by a small sensor on the headband against the forehead.
When the person wearing them is concentrating or sees something interesting the ears on the headband will stand up. When you are excited they wiggle around and when you are relaxed, tired or bored then your brain activity decreases and this will cause the ears to fall down.
They aren’t currently released in shops but the product developer Neurowear says that they are hoping to be released in stores by the end of the year.
