Pen y morfa Garden Event

On the 30th June 2011 The Environment & Regeneration Action Group, along with Communities First Glanymor & Tyisha, has arranged an activity packed day at the newly developed Pennymorfa site in the New Dock area.

The Environment & Regeneration Action Group are being handed the land at the site and as a result are holding a session for locals and volunteers on greener living and waste management.

Activities on the day will include kite making, junk sculpture and carbon reduction workshops, a community skip (held by Tidy Towns)along with litter pick organised by Keep Wales Tidy. There will be fascinating talks giving useful advice and tips by a myriad of service providers on how to sustain a greener and more environmentally friendly living.

The event is scheduled to start at 11:00am and will finish at 3.00pm with FREE refreshments provided.
