Learn more about the RLPSWW at the touch of a button

 

Web-users can now get informative, up-to-date information about a regionally-based partnership that is transforming the way employers and education providers’ work to benefit learners across the region at the click of a button.

 

The Regional Learning Partnership for South West Wales (RLPSWW), which is part-funded by the European Social Fund (ESF) through the Welsh Government, is launching its dynamic-looking website on Monday, July 4.

Carmarthenshire County Council Director of Regeneration and Leisure and RLPSWW Strategy Group Chairman Dave Gilbert said: “The launch of this new website is an exciting development as it will provide a single point of access to information relating to the RLPSWW.”

The user-friendly site includes details about the development of the partnership – which covers Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion, Swansea, Neath Port Talbot, Pembrokeshire and Swansea areas – its aims and achievements-to-date.

Speaking about the site, Director of Education, Leisure and Lifelong Learning in Neath Port Talbot CBC and RLPSWW Steering Group Chairman Karl Napieralla, said: “This website includes valuable information about who is involved in the partnership and the various areas it covers – including education, regeneration and skills.

“Users can also view the work undertaken by the RLPSWW for its Regional Learning Skills Observatory (RLSO), which is a tool aimed at improving access to local data and intelligence, for learning, skills and the labour market through a single interactive information base.”

The site will be regularly updated with applicable news items about RLP-facilitated activities and events, partner updates as well as provide access to the latest regional news affecting education, skills and the economy within South West Wales.
