Meetings are held every Thursday in Jerusalem Chapel Vestry, Gwscwm Road at 5.30 and 7.30pm.There is a warm, friendly welcome for anyone wishing to join. Further details Sian on 01267 267505.
Garden and Craft Show
On Saturday 20th August at 2pm in the community hall, Pembrey the Burry Port and Pembrey Garden club are holding their Annual Garden Show. There will be classes for novices and experts alike in fruit, flowers, floral art, vegetables, woodwork, photography, wine, preserves, cookery, art and handicrafts. There are children’s classes too.
There will be tombola, refreshments with homemade cakes, entertainment by Burry Port Junior Band weather permitting, plant, produce and book sales plus a raffle. Registration takes place Friday evening 6pm and Saturday morning from 8.30am closing promptly at 10.30am as judging takes place from 11am.

Chigong Summer Classes
There will be 3 classes in August – 11,18 and 25 from 8.30-9.45am and possibly in the evenings on the same dates if there is sufficient interest at 2 Bryn Avenue, Burry Port. Cost £4 per session. I will be teaching a set of exercises for breast care as well as the usual warm ups. If you know anyone who might be interested this is a good chance for them to try some Chigong without committing to a whole term. It will be outside so ring Anne beforehand if weather is looking doubtful on 01554 833953
