REDS AND SCARLETS JOIN UP IN NEW SEASON TICKET OFFER
The celebration of rugby and football in Llanelli continues with a unique new season ticket offer for the town’s sports supporters.
Â
In recognition of the partnership between Llanelli Reds and the Scarlets, the region and town’s football club are offering loyal supporters the chance to see a selection of both rugby and football action in Llanelli for free!
Season ticket holders at the Scarlets will be offered FIVE free entry league games to watch their home town football side, Llanelli AFC in action this season, while Llanelli Reds loyal supporters will have TWO free passes to watch Scarlets home fixtures in 2011/2012.
All supporters have to do is to show their season ticket passes to claim their free ticket for any match of their choice from the ticket office at either the Scarlets or Llanelli Reds.
Nigel Richards, General Manager of Llanelli Reds said: “We are very grateful to the Scarlets for the tremendous support they have shown our football club this year in our ambitions to succeed and develop as a club as well as improving our home ground facilities and grow our support base.
“As a club it’s been an exciting year so far and it’s important we build on what’s been achieved so far. All the hard work gets a big boost tonight (Monday 8th August) with the eagerly awaited friendly fixture against Manchester United Reserves.
“It’s unbelievable to have Man Utd – biggest team in the country, if not the world coming to play us in Llanelli. It’s a dream come true, not only for our club to be given this opportunity and experience for our players, but all the Manchester United fans in this area to get to see their team here in Wales.
“The new season ticket offer is great news for our supporters and we hope that Scarlets supporters will come and see us in a few games next season as the town celebrates and enjoys both football and rugby!”
Please note the free ticket offer does not apply for the Scarlets’ home derby fixtures against the Cardiff Blues and the Ospreys in 2011/2012 season.
