Jack Cooke is now at Ward 9 Prince Philip Hospital Edith Hussey continues to be at Mynyddmawr . Simon Morgan and Kelly Williams were married the chapel last Saturday.Gwennie Morris our oldest church member celebrted her 96th birthday last week.
Nathaneal Ellum, Ceri Ann Benjamin, Abigail Laskey and Josh Thomas begin their new terms at Univeristy this week.
HARVEST SUPPER
This year will be held on Monday 10th October at 6.30pm in the schoolroom. The tickets are £6 and available from Janice or Brenda. The proceeds are in aid of the chapel building fund.
SPONSORED WALK
All went well on Saturday for the annual Sponsored Walk along the coastal Park. Over 70 took part and hopefully a good amount will have been raised for the Teenage Cancer Trust at Cardiff. Lunch followed at Greenfield for all the walkers. We will present the amount raised to the trust at the Toy service on the first Sunday of Advent.
LOOKING FORWARD
David will give the ‘Wednesday Word’ on BBC Radio Wales today at around 2.30pm Our Harvest Services will be held on Sunday 16th October. The annual ‘Hallelujah’ Party will be held on Monday 31st October. There will be hot dogs and music, games and a great deal of fun as an alternative to Halloween.
The half yearly church meeting will be held on Monday 7th November at 7pm in the schoolroom.
The annual Bereavement Service will be held on Thursday 8th December.
