Over 50s

The over 50’s Llanelli Befriending Circle have a FREE Indian cooking demonstration with Paolo Piana, Llanelli Multicultural Network, on Tuesday 18th October at Scouts Hall from 1:30 – 3pm. Get in touch with Sarah on 01554 785958 if you’d like to come along.

Sign Language

Free sign language class will be held on the 20th October 1 – 3, at the Community of Christ Church, Trostre Road. Come along and have some fun learning a new language

Learn Welsh

Communities First Bigyn 4 are working in partnership with Swansea University and Menter Cwm Gwendraeth and will be running Cymraeg yn y Gweithle 2 which will comence on 20th September at the Community of Christ Church. The free classes are open to all Bigyn residents and will be running every Tuesday for 30 weeks. Attendees who wish to attend don’t have to have completed Cymraeg yn y Gweithle 1, but must have previous experience of attending Welsh language classes or have an understanding of the language.

Play Bus

Do you have children between 0 – 10 years? Are you looking for somewhere to go? Come along to the FREE Dragon Bus at Penyfan Park car park every Wednesday between 10am – 12pm and 1pm – 3pm. The bus has play activities for children, sand, painting, art and craft, home corner, toys, books, music and signing. Have a cuppa and enjoy yourselves! All children must be with a parent/carer. Everyone welcome.

Skydive update

Sarah’s who works for Communities First Bigyn 4 at CAVS, was due to take part in a tandem skydive. Unfortunately due to bad weather this was postponed and will now take place on the 22nd October at Swansea Airport. The money raised will be going to the British Deaf Association. So please give your help and support and help raise the funds for a very good cause. Sarah needs all the help and support she can get.
