GREENFIELD HARVEST SERVICES

The chapel was beautifully decorated for the Harvest services last Sunday. The morning worship was ‘All Age’ family worship and the children remained for the whole service. During the service a short film was shown about the agricultural and social work in Peru by BMS World Mission.

The service theme was the parable of the sower and with the help of ‘Mr Men ‘characters we were led though the meaning of the parable by our Minister. The Harvest offering was in aid of the BMS and the appeal remains open until the end of the month. The evening service was led by the church choir who presented a Harvest musical based on the book of Psalms. Jill Lewis was the narrator and with Gospel songs and solos the message of the harvest was proclaimed in music and word. Coffee followed the service.
